Ikos Iberia - Spain
A luxurious resort situated on the Mediterranean coast of Andalusia, Spain, known for its picturesque views and stunning interiors.
For the stunning exterior of the Ikos Iberia resort in Spain, our customer required a show-stopping bespoke tree that would complement the resort’s design while standing up to the intense sunlight and unpredictable weather conditions. The tree needed to maintain its appearance over time, so it was crucial that the foliage would not discolour and the fabricated steel trunk would remain in perfect condition.
Working closely with the designer, we set out to find the perfect solution, starting with selecting foliage. The customer requested a unique red maple style that would make a bold statement, and we were able to deliver by choosing UVSilx colourfast foliage. This ensured the vibrant colours would remain unaffected by UV rays, even under the Spanish sun. The fabricated trunk itself was manufactured from galvanised steel to prevent any damage from the elements, ensuring long-lasting durability and a flawless appearance.
Once installed, the red maple tree became a focal point of the resort’s exterior seating area. Positioned in the centre of the space, it adds a stunning natural element to the modern design, offering a place for guests to sit beneath and admire. Thanks to our UVSilx foliage, the tree remains vibrant and beautiful, continuing to add charm and elegance to the resort for years to come.
