Ikos Iberia - Spain

For Ikos Andalusia, our client's expectations were precise: they required a large olive tree with a natural trunk that mimicked the beauty of a real tree but without the maintenance or watering demands. Despite being a small team, we are proud of our global reach, and we were eager to begin work on this exciting project for such a distinguished new hotel overseas.

We began by carefully selecting multiple trunk options from our stock and sent images to our client, encouraging them to be part of the design process. Their involvement was essential to us, as we wanted to ensure the final result was exactly as they envisioned. As always, we focused on preserving the natural beauty and unique characteristics of the live olive tree, ensuring it would appear as lifelike as possible.

For the foliage, we chose our FireSilx inherently fire retardant olive, which provides both a realistic appearance and public safety. Given the project's international nature, we also made careful provisions for the tree's transport to Spain, designing it to be disassembled and easily packed into pallets for shipping while still ensuring a seamless reassembly process upon arrival.

Upon installation, the olive tree truly elevated the hotel's interior. It perfectly complemented the elegant design of the space and coordinated with the region's Mediterranean influences. The feedback from our client was overwhelmingly positive, and we take great pride in knowing they were thrilled with both the service and the final product. We've since had the opportunity to visit the hotel, and the tree continues to look just as stunning as it did when it was first installed.
