A superb restaurant situated in Soho London, bringing a flavour of Italy to the capital.
When our customer approached us with the idea of bringing a touch of the outdoors inside, they requested a tree that would evoke the beauty of Italy, known for its stunning olive trees and luxurious décor. The tree had to have its own unique adaptations, including a natural trunk and a cloud-style canopy, with the important requirement of being Fire Retardant for the safety of both customers and staff.
Our solution involved leveraging the expertise our team has developed over years of perfecting the ideal olive tree. It was exciting to work on a brief that presented a different challenge. Given the fire retardant requirement, we used our FireSilx inherently fire retardant range of olive foliage, which has been rigorously tested to meet both British and European standards.
We positioned the branches at varying heights to achieve the cloud canopy, ensuring a balanced, natural look. After placing the branches, we carefully selected the FireSilx foliage to create the desired effect, enhancing the tree’s unique structure.
The outcome was a true success. The customer was thrilled with the final result, and once installed, the cloud-style olive tree transformed the space. It became a focal point, with visitors drawn to it, sitting around the tree to enjoy their meals in a relaxed setting. The olive tree now serves as a peaceful gathering spot, elevating the overall atmosphere and creating an inviting environment for all.
