Published on 24 November 2014 by in Trade Shows

As most of us are ramping up the preparations for the Christmas and New Year festivities, other dates on the calendar are also demanding our attention. Most resellers and retailers will already have plans in place for Burn’s Night in January, and Valentine’s Day in February.  However, one of the most important dates in the first half of the year falls between those two. In 2015, Spring Fair at the NEC Birmingham is being held from the 1st to 5th February.  This is a few days earlier than the last few years so don’t get caught out.  Remember too to

Talking to the Trees

Published on 22 October 2014 by in Installations

In addition to supplying some trees, TreeLocate were recently asked to install them on behalf of a customer. Always happy to oblige when we can, we despatched two of our tree-building specialists , Dan and Tom, to the London Oratory School. Not long after they returned; Rebecca Gwyn, a director of Fake It Flowers Ltd., sent a glowing testimonial singing their praises.  She wrote: I just wanted to say thank you for the Silver Birch Trees, they look fabulous and the school are really pleased with them, I am attaching a few photos to show you them in place. The Long and the Tall of Delivering Artificial Trees

Published on 9 May 2014 by in Facilities

Shipping full-size artificial trees is less problematic than you might think, even if sometimes it requires some meticulous measuring. For the majority of our customers, the topic of shipping their product revolves around, “Can it be here on xyz date?”, or, “How much will the shipping cost?”.  But for a small yet significant group of customers, the lead questions revolve around, “Is it possible to make abc and get it shipped to xyz?” and what such a transport operation involves.  The latter group are mainly landscape installers – both interior and exterior – and come to TreeLocate for the large

Greenwalls for Spring Season

Published on 2 April 2014 by in Bespoke Creations

With winter receding rapidly, our design team decided to brighten up the offices and showroom with some early springtime colour. Some quick experimentation with various stock products yielded some stunning greenwall panels in mixed flowers and foliage. The examples shown were built onto standard 28-inch x 90-inch coated-steel backing meshes. Several variations were built and hung on the walls in several locations as display examples, providing a feeling that summer was indeed arriving – aided by several days of clear skies and brilliant sunshine.

TreeLocate at Spring Fair 2014 with a Floral Avenue

Published on 27 February 2014 by in Trade Shows

TreeLocate returned to the NEC for the annual Spring Fair show in February. It’s always difficult to create new and interesting displays when attending multiple shows every year, but this year we tried to revert to a hint of yesteryear with a “shabby chic” background.
